New hair color ideas? What ';unnatural'; colors would work well?

I have almost black hair and wanted to dye it like a sort of unnatural color... well three to be exact :)

I just wanted to hear some opinions on which colors would work well together

(ex: pink, purple , red)

But i dont like those colors lol. well not together anyways...New hair color ideas? What ';unnatural'; colors would work well?
Well first off... with your dark hair you'll have to bleach it first, which you probably already know. Then use what is known in the professional hair color world as magnetic hair color... it lasts much longer than traditional color. I would definitely recommend getting it professionally done... it's worth it. Just make sure the salon uses magnetic hair color.. it is used at your more trendy salons.

As for color, bleached blonde with orange and black streaks looks cool.

Bright green and blue on black.

Blue and purple on black.

I'm a hair stylist, here is some info.

1. Colours are a great way to experiment. If you aren't ready to make the full commitment then consider playing with extensions until you get the colours you like.

2. Consider your skin tone. Blue can work on any skin tone, it's just the hue and shade you need to worry about. If your skin is fair, try shades of dark blue, medium blue and bright blue. If your skin is more olive, try shades of cool blue, black blue and violet. If you have dark skin, bright blue in any shade will contrast with your skin.

3. Have your hair done professionally. I recommend Aveda salons and products because they use plant based colours with no ammonia so it's not as harmful as other colours and they are also cruelty free and last longer!

4. Other colour pairs to consider are red, orange and yellow, purple and turquoise, or white %26amp; silver.

5. If you want to try something more funky, pair contrasting colours instead of matching ones. Yellow %26amp; Purple or Blue %26amp; Orange can make a crazy statement.

6. Don't be afraid to experiment. It's YOUR hair, express yourself!

Hope this helps. :]
What we have been doing lately is pretty cool. Dipping strategic hair pieces in bleach and then puttin rad colors on the created tips. Like crazy block angled bangs just at the lash line sweeping down longer over one eye dipped in bleach about 1 1/2 inches wrapped in foil, processed with heat for about 20 or 30 minutes until it comes up, rinsed and dryed then put like a dark violet or another cool color that goes good with your fav eye shadow. Got the idea?
Keep in mind that to dye your hair an unnatural color with dark hair you'll have to bleach it and reapply the color quite often, it fades and looks pretty bad if you don't. I wouldn't dye all your hair unnatural colors, and I honestly wouldn't combine that many together. Hot pink always looks good, along with dark purples and blues.
Green. or Torqouise.

dye your hair a light brown, then shades of pink all through. Dye the tips of your hair black. I know this girl jenny it looks really cool that way, but it depends are you tan or pale?
i would go with blue and purple or just dark blue or dark purple. i can't think of 3 colors that would look good together, i'd just pick 2.
BLUE YELLOW AND ORANGE WORK GREAT WITH DARK HAIR...

IF YOU LIKE PINKS AND PURPLES, I WOULD OPT FOR PURPLE OR PINK WITH GREEN AND YELLOW BUT A MILD GREEN NOT A DARK GREEN...
How about white/silver highlights

or gold-ish

or violet

blue...
pink and black

green and pink

blue, white and red
Blue Pink Purple
orange red
i would qo with red;blond %26amp; yur naurtal(:
black teal pink
blond, black,hot red..looks cute
it depends on ur skin color
