Help with new hair color?

My skin tone i pale-ish, but red and ruddy too. My natural hair color is medium brown and my eyes are medium brown too.


Would dying my hair a shade or two darker help reduce the appearance of redness on my face?Help with new hair color?

No. Your natural colour matches your complexion best. Darker colour will contrast more with your skin making it look paler and pinker. If anything you may look better with copper tones- not deep red just something to add shine to your hair without covering it completely. Once you start dying it you have to keep it up. If you want to disguise redness in your skin use a lightly tinted moisturiser which will give a more even tone where you want it but still show off the gorgeous and natural colour in your cheeks.


You only want to make subtle changes which you can always reverse if you don't like.

Your best defence agaisn't the red on ur face is to use a green tint make up. You can find a products from www.phsyiciansformula.com that help with the redness. Also you could try a temp ASH brown to see if you like the color. Because green cancles out red that would help neutralize the red. But you should try a temp color first to see if you like it. Try a 6 or 5 Ash Brown by Roux. You just put it on and it rinses back out. Or even a Semi in the same level.
i think it might actually higlight the color of your face. so i would really think about it first
