New hair color and cut?please help me!!!?
i am going to get a hair cut and color possible high-lights tomorrow but i have no idea what i should do? i am pretty much down for whatever blonde, red, brown i just dont want my hair too short. my hair is past my shoulders and i have side bangs the color is a reddish blonde which makes my skin color and eyes look kinda washed out. i have a oval face medium tan skin with some freckles and hazel eyes. please give me your ideas anything will help... thanksNew hair color and cut?please help me!!!?

I had noticed one bit of Chimpy hair color changing , still a rooster tail style. He looks just is same old stupid face making those facial expressions that makes you want to throw your TV out. He may have I can't see much of anything except unkempt teeth never flossed or brushed , that green shirt with the sleeves rolled up that old black belt, those old funky polyester pants those old dirty boots. I wonder if he just has one shirt, one pair of pants, one belt, it is everyday wear when he isn't in a suit. I'm not talking about his western clothes, he wears in Crawford. He tries to walk bow legged like he has been riding bulls, he hasn't ever rode anything but that white trucks , I don't know if drives off the range because if he drives why don't he learn to ride a bike , read or write. I think Laura drives as soon as they get out of sight, there just no way that idiot learned how to drive , he can't read the signs. I saw Laura tell Jay Leno that he ran all the way through the garage out in to the back yard tore the garage down.

Very pretty picture. She can go darker since her skin tone is dark or maybe just add some highlights(thin ones). Leave the length of her hair and maybe cut some side sweep bangs which will add a bid of style.

i think highlights would be really cool, but highlights are hard to touch up. when the color fades you'll have to find all the bleached strands of hair and recolor them blue. You have to bleach to get the blue to be as true to color as possible, and to make the color last long. but if you don't recolor, make sure sure you bleach your hair a livable blonde color so you can have lighter blonde highlights when the color fades and not like yellow ones. good luck!

I liked it better than the two tone hair she had before her makeover. Really dark hair with really blone highlights just looks weird to me. The blonde looked weird on her when she first walked out but I think it was just because it was so drastically different than her dark hair. I think if you knew her after a couple weeks it'd start to look normal on her.

I think that the white blonde suits her better than the brown mess + nasty stripe she was sporting at the ranch.
Also.. can you believe that she lost out on the 100k to Jerry by FOUR lbs?

Two weeks ago I went to this new hairdresser she did a really good job was very professional so I tipped her a big amount, it ended up costing 140$. Since the color has faded (natural light brown - colored dark dark brown)

I`d do very dark brown with lighter brown highlights all around along with blonde pieces. I think that would be kind of summery...not the average blonde which is good.

i want to try an all new color and new highlights to go with the base color.

I`d do very dark brown with lighter brown highlights all around along with blonde pieces. I think that would be kind of summery...not the average blonde which is good.

Freaked out with new hair color! Any suggestions?!?
Okay, i've had highlights in my hair for a long time, but they started growing out and i decided to get my hair died my original color at a salon. My original hair color is dark brown, but it looks black. Now i look like a goth, and am pretty miserable because this color is just not me. I wanted more of a soft brown color. Anyways, should i get highlights? Would they work on black hair and look natural? Any suggestions would be most helpful!!! Thanks!Freaked out with new hair color! Any suggestions?!?
DO NOT PANIC! All color fades, at least to some degree. Your new color is fresh and at its most vibrant peak. Give it a week and a few shampoos and it's likely to tone down more to your liking. Additionally, where your previous hightlights were may not hold the color as well as your new-growth and will fade faster. This can give your hair a more dimensional look and ease the shock.
Otherwise, if you are truly unhappy with the color, go back to your salon pro! I am sure they would never want their client to feel ';miserable'; over work they performed. Just explain how you feel and your salon pro will most likely be happy to help you conquer this issue in the safest manner for your hair.Freaked out with new hair color! Any suggestions?!?

Since you said your hair almost looks black already, get light brown highlights so it wont be too harsh. The salon should have samples of different colors that you can choose from. Just don't put blonde highlights, that's too bold.
Ever seen the movie 'Van Helsing' ? Think of that woman with the brown and black curly hair.
i've seen a lot of people get burgandy highlights in black hair. maybe you could get a shade or two lighter put in.
Get more than one tone of highlights, try dark brown and a light brown, they should look good with black hair
dont worry that happened to me when i had my hair blonde it should start fading a little in a week or so try waiting a week and if its still too dark try some highlights
It's always way easier to light then it is to go back to being dark. Your highlights are going to be kicking that color out faster than you can imagine, it the salon did it too light, it would pretty much be back to blond after just a few shampoo's take some time to adjust. You always feel a little Gothic after going from light to dark, don't worry it will fade and look soft brown in no time.
omg the same happined to me i have dirty blonde hair but used to colour it a nice beachy blonde..But got sick of the regrowth the hairdresser said she could take my hair back to its natural colour but the finished look was not even close to my natural colour she made it this yucky brown!!
I think id rather put up with regrowth so next month im going to go back to my blonde.
You seem you are in the same boat..I think if your going to get highlights its going to be the same procedure as taking it bak to a nice dark brown...If its basiclly black they would have to bleach the hair and then put a brown or blonde ( whatever you want) so they have to strip the hair..So if your that unhappy you miles strip your whole head and then get your desired colour put in..
The hairdresser may say its bad for your hair..But its once it really isnt that bad!

Start washing your hair with Tidew/bleach and shampoo. wet hair in tub, don't get in, just bend down, then put a small a mount of tide in hand mix shampoo in hand with it and wash, be carfull not to get in eyes. shampoo 3 times a night rinse . then sleep with a deep cond. and shower cap on. repeat every day till the color slips. remember deep cond. very important

You already have some red highlights in your hair and your complexion would look good with red hair. You could try a light auburn color or if you wanted a big change, you could try a medium or dark auburn. Auburn is not bright red hair, but a reddish brown. I really think it would look good on you. If you are not sure, try some of the semi-permanent colors that wash out in 28 shampoos.

My hair is longer and straight, but I still think it works really well.

So if you want to try blond, then I'd recommend you do that for a while before going red. Blond would be a big change for you. I bet you could pull of platinum blond quite well. Now, when you're young, is the time to have fun with your hair. Experiment! Try all sorts of new styles! Have Fun!

HELP i hate my new hair color???
i dyed my hair yesterday a neutral dark brown and it came out so black and dull looking..how can i fix it..HELP i hate my new hair color???
well as you wash it the color will come out and itll get lighter but if you cant wait that long then try dyeing it again a lighter brown. did you check that the box number and the bottle number were the same b/c sometimes ppl change them around.HELP i hate my new hair color???
you could find some sort of shine rinse that you could put through your hair at any drug store, they work great and they aren't too expensive
but if you're planning on re-dying waiting a couple of weeks first is smartest
You have to find a dye color that matches your natural hair color because that is really all you can do. Good Luck getting your hair back!

It was the brightest red/pink you could imagine and the best part was the first couple of times I washed it, it got brighter. It lasts about a month to a month and a half and most special effects dye fades to a nice color. The blues wash out quicker than most, incase you were thinking about that too.

You probably don't want to do that because it damages the crap out of your hair [was bleaching my hair since 7th grade, I have black hair now and love it]. My suggestion is to darken the blonde only a bit. like dirty/honey blonde. Don't go dark quite yet. Make it a gradual thing because once you are a blonde it is extremely hard to get use to other colors even your natural color. Take it from me 2 big hair mistakes in only 1 month. most people that look really good blonde sometimes they don't look very well as a brunette.
If you really want to change go for a bit lighter than your natural color.
But really my true opinion is to not change it because you might regret it and to fix it you will damage your hair even more.
Nevertheless ask your hair stylist they will always give a good suggestion

i would suggest maybe a light brown, because if you go to dark you will look sick if you have a really fair complexion.

Hey there! I am very indecisive and could really use some advice on what hair color/style to get. I'm fourteen, have very pale skin and green eyes. Last Christmas, I dyed my hair black. why not go for some striking streaks instead?..that way, you do not have to worry about having a whole head of something you find too bright,etc. You can keep your blk clor and get some fire red streaks in it..or some blond highlights. It would make a great differnce..and be cheaper and easier to keep...or...easier to change around if you get bored with the streak colors you have.;.you have lots of room to play with your hiar with streaks

okay i messed up...i dyed my hair twice during the last 2 weeks and now i hate it...it really sucks..the color,i mean...i wished for a change for the better and it turned for the worse...i know its not good to dye my hair often BUT what if I cut a considerable amount of it?? would it still be damaged?? what if i also use good hair masks and conditioner a lot? my mom says i should wait for like a month before re-dying it but i really feel sad and uncomfortable about it....I hate it and it stays on my mind...but i dont wanna became bald either...so WHAT SHOULD I DO?? dye it now and cut it and take very good care of it or wait for longer??...i really feel miserable about it...can someone;s hair just completely fall out ?Haircut helps new hair color?

I would leave the base color natural. Add TONS of tiny multi-tone blonde and caramel highlights and lowlights. It might be hard doing it yourself, but thats my advice if you're having it done professionally.

Usually, when everybody agrees (your friends, the wig shop attendant(s), any customers/onlookers and you, of course), it means it is the right choice, just as much as when you go get your prom dress and try lots and lots of them until you and your friends agree that's the best.

If you want a color change what I recommend is going all the way by going blonde! Going blonde can be a tedious procedure but it doesn't have to be! Since your hair is very dark to begin with you have to do a double process bleach blonding in order to be a blonde. No worries! The best blonding product out there for you is the Clairol Born Blonde Maxi this is a great blonding product which takes even the darkest brown and transforms it into a lovely blonde without the unwanted brassiness. Your hair will go through several stages before it is fully lightened to blonde. You will have to leave the blonding mixutre in for about 2 hours to see results. Also don't be suprised to see red/orange/gold tones in your hair it is just a natural blonding process. The stages your hair will go through are
1. Black
2. Brown
3. Red
4. Orange
5. Gold
6. Blonde
7. Pale Blonde
Each stage will take about fifteen minutes or so. After you reached the desired level of lightness rinse the blonding mixture out and use a toner to eliminate any unwanted tones in your hair. Since your hair is going to be a little dry what I recommend is doing daily moistureizing treatments with mayonaise. Just lather leave in for 10 minutes and rinse! Mayonaise is great for hair that has been bleached not only does it add nutirents but it also protects your hair against breakage. How good is that! If you want to add multitonal blonde highlights to your newly bleached blonde hair. No problem. Just wait a week just to give your bleached hair some time to heal. The best blonde shade for your bleached hair will be Nicollette Sheridan Blonde DH/ Knots landing which is the Clairol Nice N easy #102 Natural Light Ash Blonde it is a lovely all over blonde color which highlights the hair with multitonal highlights this color willl give you beautiful ashy and champagne highlights which will be the frosting to your bleached hair. To keep your newly blonde hair vibrant what I recommend is using the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo Conditioner plus colorglaze( Platinum to Champagne for lighter shades of blonde hair) FOr natural colortreated or highlighted blondes. With these tips you will have beautiful salon quality hair.
