Help on choosing a new hair color?

I really want a new look and I'm tired of my usual black or dark brown to light brown hair color. I want a color that will make me feel...new and different.





I have brown eyes and kind of a tan, bronze color skin. But I have no idea what color I should do. Any input would be great.

it depends on your skin maybe like a light brown almost a blonde?
Maybe do black but red highlights. :P
I don't think any other color would look good on olive/tan skin but black or brown hair


besides i brunette looks better then blondes in my opinion,... but everyones different


I actually died my har blonde once and it looked terrible i have tanned skin too..
I am the exact same way! Our only difference is I have green eyes but I've done it all from any shade of brown to black. You should try lightening your locks a little more. Nicole Anderson did and she look AMAZING!

Don't dye your hair blonde!!! It looks terrible with people who have darker skin. Dye your hair Fire Engine Red or if you want really un-natural I would say half and half which is where you dye half your hair one color and half another color. :)
First, determine if you are a ';cool'; or ';warm';


You can do this by grabbing a red piece of clothing or fabric and a blue one; hold them up to your face. If when you hold the red up, you skin looks orange-ish, your NOT a warm. If it looks brighter and more lively, you are a WARM. if blue looks better with your skin tone and brings out natural shine, you are COOL. kay??





Second, pick whether you want permanent or demi/semi?? If you want permanent I suggest Herbal Essences ';Color Me Vibrant'; they are very vibrant, gorgeous color. If you don't like that, try ';Perfect 10'; by Clairol. Also, semi= go Natural Instincts. its the best.





Then go to their website and look for ';cool'; or ';warm'; colors. btw, im betting, your going to be a cool, based on your description above :) so, therefore you dont want anything that says ';auburn'; or ';golden'; on it. look for ';ash'; or ';cool'; kayy?





Next, hit up the store, look at the cools and their colors, pick one you like!








My suggestions for you...


Go with one of these ideas;


-Purple-ish brown, i believe they call it raisin or something but its basically a cool medium brown with a purple tint to it.


-Deep chocolate brown with blue or purple lowlights or highlights


-Medium ash brown with deep blue on the underside of your hair








WHATEVER YOU DO, don't do ';golden blonde'; or ANY red,


I guaruntee it will NOT look good on you.
