I need help choosing a new hair color?

Im bored with my black/darkbrown hair and I want to dye my hair a whole nother color. No unnatural colors but what normal color do you think would look good on me?

You should go black with tons of chunked blonde highlights
I think you can go as a redhead. Maybe a dark, brownish-red with honey highlights.
i think you should have highlights.highlights are cool,besides dying your hair is just too much...don't you think?
go to Sally's and get the lush cherry i think that would be the best color truely.
light brown would be really cute and your pretty :)
A natural blonde or redhair would look great on you, but I also think a different haircut would do you more justice.





Why not go to a wig store, try lots of wigs until you see which hairstyle and color suits you best? Preferably, go with a friend or some friends who are really willing to help you choose the best option.





Usually, when everybody agrees (your friends, the wig shop attendant(s), any customers/onlookers and you, of course), it means it is the right choice, just as much as when you go get your prom dress and try lots and lots of them until you and your friends agree that's the best.

If you want a color change what I recommend is going all the way by going blonde! Going blonde can be a tedious procedure but it doesn't have to be! Since your hair is very dark to begin with you have to do a double process bleach blonding in order to be a blonde. No worries! The best blonding product out there for you is the Clairol Born Blonde Maxi this is a great blonding product which takes even the darkest brown and transforms it into a lovely blonde without the unwanted brassiness. Your hair will go through several stages before it is fully lightened to blonde. You will have to leave the blonding mixutre in for about 2 hours to see results. Also don't be suprised to see red/orange/gold tones in your hair it is just a natural blonding process. The stages your hair will go through are


1. Black


2. Brown


3. Red


4. Orange


5. Gold


6. Blonde


7. Pale Blonde


Each stage will take about fifteen minutes or so. After you reached the desired level of lightness rinse the blonding mixture out and use a toner to eliminate any unwanted tones in your hair. Since your hair is going to be a little dry what I recommend is doing daily moistureizing treatments with mayonaise. Just lather leave in for 10 minutes and rinse! Mayonaise is great for hair that has been bleached not only does it add nutirents but it also protects your hair against breakage. How good is that! If you want to add multitonal blonde highlights to your newly bleached blonde hair. No problem. Just wait a week just to give your bleached hair some time to heal. The best blonde shade for your bleached hair will be Nicollette Sheridan Blonde DH/ Knots landing which is the Clairol Nice N easy #102 Natural Light Ash Blonde it is a lovely all over blonde color which highlights the hair with multitonal highlights this color willl give you beautiful ashy and champagne highlights which will be the frosting to your bleached hair. To keep your newly blonde hair vibrant what I recommend is using the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoo Conditioner plus colorglaze( Platinum to Champagne for lighter shades of blonde hair) FOr natural colortreated or highlighted blondes. With these tips you will have beautiful salon quality hair.

I am no beautician but I think that a blonde and dark brown streaked color would look good on you. Especially with you haircut.

if your eyes are dark brown go for a light brown hair colour


if your eyes are blue go for blond


if your eyes are green go for a reddish colour
